CHARACTERISTIC:

A graduate of engineering studies in the field of computer science will acquire knowledge and skills in the field of general computer science issues as well as knowledge and technical skills in the field of information systems. He will know and understand on the basis of electronics, digital technology and electronic measurements of the principles of building computers and devices working with them, operating systems, computer networks and databases. He will acquire computer programming skills and will learn the principles of software engineering to the extent enabling effective work in programming teams. Obtain basic knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence, computer graphics and human-computer communication. He will be able to use his knowledge at work, observing legal and ethical principles.

In particular, a graduate of engineering IT studies will demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to:

  • undertaking and implementation of tasks in project, programming and implementation teams of information systems,
  • taking up work and effective operation at various positions in IT companies involved in the construction, implementation or maintenance (service, maintenance) of devices, tools and information systems,
  • management and administration of medium-sized IT systems,
  • making independent expansion and supplementing their knowledge in the rapidly changing IT reality,
  • undertaking second degree studies.

DURATION OF STUDIES

1,5 year (obtained the title: master's degree in engineering).


OFFERED SPECIALTIES:

  • engineering of computer security systems,
  • design and operation of information systems,
  • computer networks and distributed systems.

The graduate of the second degree studies has IT knowledge in the field of all basic and directional content appropriate for studies in the field of IT. Receiving a master's degree in engineering, he will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to:

  • independent solving of IT problems, including: identification and classification in terms of complexity, specification and implementation of solutions,
  • preparation, implementation and verification of complex IT projects,
  • proficient use of IT tools and advanced programming,
  • to independently expand and supplement their knowledge in the rapidly changing IT reality,
  • undertaking scientific and research work - individual and team,
  • undertaking doctoral studies.
